As a self-taught artist, I believe we all have an innate creativity waiting to be expressed. In these changing and challenging times, art serves as a powerful tool for self-expression, helping us navigate complex emotions and experiences.

Cultivating an artistic practice invites me to pay attention. In so doing, I see the world - and myself - differently. Painting encourages me to slow down and let go of outcomes, achievement and perfection. It connects me with the natural world.

For the first ten years of my art practice, I shared space in 1000 Parker Street in East Vancouver, and participated in the Eastside Culture Crawl.
In 2021, I joined the community of artists and makers at Rock Bay Square in Victoria.

Join me at this year's Rock Bay Open House on November 2, 2024 from 10am to 4:30pm. Admission is free!

These current pieces reflect my exploration of nature, light, and colour. Each is meticulously planned while allowing for the unexpected, mirroring the coexistence of order and chaos in the human experience.
